1. Who We Are

Forces Compare Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under 785329 and with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under ZA337071. Registered Office: Wellfield House, Parkhouse Lane, Keynsham, BS31 2SG, United Kingdom.

By using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. The Service We Provide

We provide a claims management service. We use open banking technology to securely analyse your financial history and identify potential claims for mis-sold financial products, including but not limited to:

  • Mis-sold loans and credit agreements
  • Unfair or excessive interest charges
  • Payment Protection Insurance (PPI)
  • Unaffordable lending
  • Hidden commissions and fees

Where we identify a potential claim, we will prepare, submit and manage that claim on your behalf, liaising with the relevant lenders and, if necessary, the Financial Ombudsman Service.

3. No Win, No Fee

Our service operates on a no win, no fee basis. This means:

  • There are no upfront costs to you for using our service
  • If your claim is unsuccessful, you will not be charged anything
  • If your claim is successful, our success fee will be taken as an agreed percentage of the settlement amount you receive
  • The exact fee percentage will be clearly communicated to you in your Letter of Authority before any claim is submitted

Our fee is inclusive of VAT where applicable. You will never be asked to make any payment from your own pocket.

4. Your Responsibilities

By using our service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information when completing our onboarding form
  • Notify us promptly if any of your personal details change
  • Cooperate with reasonable requests for additional information needed to support your claim
  • Not submit claims to the same lender independently for the same matter while we are acting on your behalf
  • Inform us if you receive any communication directly from a lender regarding a claim we have submitted

5. Cancellation Rights

You have the right to cancel our service at any time. In particular:

  • You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date you sign your Letter of Authority, during which you may cancel without charge
  • After the 14-day cooling-off period, you may still cancel at any time by contacting us in writing
  • If you cancel after we have already commenced work on a claim that subsequently results in a settlement, our success fee may still apply

6. Limitation of Liability

While we take every reasonable step to identify and pursue valid claims on your behalf:

  • We do not guarantee the outcome of any claim. The success of a claim depends on the individual circumstances and the decision of the lender or the Financial Ombudsman Service
  • We are not liable for any losses arising from delays caused by third parties, including lenders and the Financial Ombudsman Service
  • Our total liability to you in connection with our service shall not exceed the fees you have paid to us

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Governing Law

These terms of service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

8. Your Right to Claim Independently

Important Information
